Share direct links to your products, takeaway menu, or gift voucher shop on Facebook, Instagram, and your newsletter.

Do you want to promote your events, the takeaway page, or your gift vouchers? Formitable makes it easy to share direct links to all your tickets, products, and pages.

You can share these links on social media (like Facebook, Instagram) or in your mail campaigns and newsletters. With these direct links, guests will automatically be directed to a particular ticket or a particular page in your reservation widget.

Direct link to your widget

Direct your guests to your website where the widget opens right away by pasting "/?shop=reservations" after your website URL.

e.g. www.restaurant.com/?ft-shop=reservations

Want your widget to open on a specific language? Then put "/?ft-language=XX" after your website URL. Which languages you can use depends on the languages you have enabled under Settings > Setup > Languages. Use the following abbreviations for this:

  • NL (Dutch)

  • EN (English)

  • CA (Catalan)

  • DA (Danish)

  • DE (German)

  • ES (Spanish)

  • FR (French)

  • NB (Norwegian)

  • SV (Swedish)

e.g. www.restaurant.com/?ft-language=en

Direct link to a specific ticket

Direct your guests to a specific ticket by pasting "/?ft-ticket=ticketID" after your website URL. When doing so, replace the word "ticketID" with the ticket ID. Each ticket you create in Formitable has its own ticket ID. Go to Products > Tickets to open the ticket. You will find your ticket ID in the lower left corner. You will also find the ticket ID in the share URL button.

e.g. www.restaurant.com/?ft-ticket=f0e645cc

In the following way, you can also have the ticket open on a specific group size. To do this, put "?ft-ticket=ticketID&ft-partysize=#" after your website URL.

e.g. www.restaurant.com/?ft-ticket=f0e645cc&ft-partysize=2

In addition to opening on a specific group size, you can also have a ticket open on a specific day and time. To do this, put "/?ft-ticket=TICKETID&ft-date=YYYY-MM-DD&ft-time=XXXX" after your website URL.

e.g. www.restaurant.com/?ft-ticket=f0e645cc&ft-date=2024-03-31&ft-time=1700

Direct link to your gift voucher shop

Guide guests to your gift voucher shop by adding "?ft-shop=giftshop" after your website URL.

e.g. www.restaurant.com/?ft-shop=giftshop

Direct link to your takeaway menu

Promote your takeaway menu by adding "?ft-shop=takeaway" after your website URL.

e.g. www.restaurant.com/?ft-shop=takeaway

Direct link to one specific takeaway item

Promote one specific takeaway item by adding "?ft-takeaway=[productID]" after your website URL.

e.g. www.restaurant.com/?ft-takeaway=9892674d

📌 To find the specific product ID for your takeaway product go to Products > Takeaway and open the specific product. You can find your product ID when you click on the share URL button.
