Tickets give you the possibility to create all kinds of unique experiences. Think for example of a High Tea, a special lunch deal, or Valentine's menu. All these different Tickets can be connected to a Shift, in order to create online availability that matches the Ticket. For example; a Valentine's menu only on the 14th of February and a lunch deal on every weekday between 11.00 and 13.00.

There may also be moments when you don't want to offer your guests a choice in what they book. Instead, you want to give them a straightforward way of just making a standard reservation. This is when you use the Default Ticket. Guests can book immediately without having to select a Ticket.

You can adjust the Default Ticket via Products > Tickets. Click on the Default Ticket and adjust the image and description.

Do you want to work with the Default Ticket? Connect a Shift to the Default Ticket by following this step-by-step guide. You cannot delete the Default Ticket from your Ticket library. If you don't want to work with the Default Ticket, simply don't connect a Shift to it.

💡 When you also offer another Ticket at the exact same times and days as your Default Ticket, guests will be able to view the Default Ticket in your Widget. They then have to make a choice between the standard reservation (via the Default Ticket) or the special. That's why we advise you to always add a photo and short description to your Default Ticket.
