Bad weather, team members falling ill, or other circumstances. No matter the reason: You have to stop reservations from coming in right now. This is how you can easily do that yourself.
Scenario 1. Bad weather - you have to close the terrace
Due to bad weather you want to stop reservations on your terrace. Turn reservations for the area off.

Go to Overview, click on the label 'open' in the top right corner.

Put the maximum of guests in the area to 0.

Click on Apply.

Scenario 2. Dinner at 6 pm is getting too crowded - close a timeslot
There are too many guests arriving on a specific timeslot. Close the timeslot so no more reservations will be accepted.

Go to the Overview, click on the switch icon for pacing limits in the top right corner.

Put the relevant timeslot on capped.

Click on Save.

The timeslot is no longer available online.
Scenario 3. Close reservations for a whole day
Don't want to accept reservations for a specific day?

Go to Overview, click on the label 'open' in the top right corner

Click on Closed where it says accept online reservations.

Click on Apply.

Online reservations will no longer be accepted for this day.
Scenario 4. Close restaurant for several days
Do you want to close your restaurant for several days or a week? Add a closed period.

Go to Settings > Shifts and click on the Special and Closed days tab

Click on the big blue PLUS button to add one closed days.

Select the Start and the End date of the closing period.

Click on Apply. Your newly added closed day(s) will show up in the overview
Scenario 5. Not able to serve dinner - close a shift
Not able to do lunch or dinner on a specific day? Shifts decide when guests are able to make reservations.

If you work with different lunch and dinner shifts, add exceptions to your regular shifts. We explain here how to do that.

Do you have an ongoing shift from 10.00 till 22.00? Just close all the time slots for the dinner, as we described in scenario 2.
