Do you not want to be surprised by guests that reserve 5 minutes before they walk into your door? Change the booking window of your shifts and decide how far in advance your guests are allowed to place reservations.

After this time has passed the reservation widget will not show any available time slots anymore to guests.

• Scenario 1: You do not want to be surprised by surprise guests that reserved a few minutes before arriving? Accept dinner reservations until a certain time of the day

• Scenario 2: Do you need a few days heads-up for bigger group reservations? Accept group reservations only when they are placed some days in advance.

Accept dinner reservations until a certain time of day

Do you only want to accept online dinner reservations up until the same day at 5 pm? Set your booking window to a fixed time of day. 

• In Formitable, go to Settings > Shifts. Select the Shift you want to change.

• Select Booking Window from the left menu.

• Select Same Day and the time when you want to stop online reservations.

• Save & Close your shift settings. 

• Guests can now only book this shift up until the chosen time.

Reservations should be placed a few days in advance

Do you need one or two days to prepare for group reservations? Change the booking window to allow yourself some time to prepare. 

• In Formitable, go to Settings > Shifts. Select the Shift you want to change.

• Select Booking Window from the left menu.

• If you need 1 day to prepare, select 1 day. 

• If you need more days to prepare, select Custom, and select the number of days you need. 

• Save & Close your shift settings. 

• Guests now have to book the selected number of days in advance.
