The easiest way to increase your revenue, night after night
Of course, you want to optimize all your tables. So you're probably really happy when you booked a full house. But what if you could sell your tables more than once, without having to work in predefined shifts?
Squeeze helps you to double your tables by offering reservations with a shorter table turn. Even better: Squeeze options will only be shown to guests when all standard spots are already booked. So by using Squeeze you perfectly respond to the need of guests that would really like to visit you on a specific evening, and don't mind having an end-time.
💸 To make it a little less abstract we illustrate it with two real-life examples:
-
A Michelin star restaurant that used to sell tables only once, and books a full house during weekends (32 guests) now has 20% more reservations, because of Squeeze. Their average spend is €115 per guest. So Squeeze helps them to earn €736 extra per weekend night. This comes down to €5888 extra per month!
-
A Pizza bar that fills the gaps with Squeeze has 35% extra reservations because of this. They usually have 40 guests per night. Add 35% and you have 14 guests on top of an already full-house. Their average spend is €25 so Squeeze earns them €350 extra per night!

YES to filling up open spots, NO to no-shows
Obviously, it is a huge misconception to believe it’s OK not to show up for a reservation but unfortunately, it still happens. Even though we are an advocate of prepayments (it’s simply the cleanest deal between a buyer and a seller), we offer restaurants different ways to prevent costly no-shows or late cancellations, and fill up those last-minute empty spots.
1. No more no-shows with prepayments
Before Formitable, Auberge Jean & Marie used to call, email and text their guests to make sure they were keeping their reservations. Not only was this time-consuming, but they also still had a no-show rate of 10-12%. Since working with prepayments, this percentage has dropped to a staggering 0,1%.

Whether you want to offer prepaid Tickets, sell Takeaways or sell Gift Vouchers, your guests need to be able to somehow pay for these online. When you work with online transactions, we charge a small fee. Simply, because processing online transactions requires more advanced technology and more responsibility.
💸 When you process more than 25 online transactions per month, you're better off in Standard. Let us show you why:
€50 difference in subscription fee between Basic and Standard
€2,00 difference in online transaction fee between Basic and Standard
€50 / €2 = 25
2. No more last-minute empty spots with a Waitlist
Even if you book a full house in advance, there's still the possibility of a last-minute cancellation. With the Waitlist feature you automatically or manually, whatever you prefer, send out an email to guests that are registered on the Waitlist when somebody doesn't show up or when a reservation is canceled. This way, you'll have a number of backup guests that can fill the gaps if necessary and you'll have more chances to fill up those last-minute empty spots.
💸 But what's actually the added value, moneywise? Let's give you an example:
-
A popular industrial bistro-like café has placed 313 Waitlist reservations in one month. This gives them a guaranteed revenue of €10955 because their average spend is €35.
-
A casual-chic hotspot that can cater to 45 guests per night, has placed 52 Waitlist reservations in one month. This gives them a guaranteed revenue of €2600 because their average spend is €50.

Ditch time-consuming and costly marketing efforts for something easy, flexible, and (dare we say it) fun
For most restaurants, connecting to guests offline is a piece of cake 🍰. But online can be a hurdle. It can be quite costly if you outsource your marketing efforts, and often very time-consuming if you do it yourself.
Our Standard plan offers you easy solutions to both attract more first-time guests and also increase the number of returning guests.
1. Attract more first-time guests with Google Posts
Google Posts are a huge opportunity to increase your online visibility. Up-to-date business information on Google is essential because most guests look for information on restaurants via Google Search. With Google Posts, you will be right at the spot where the decision-making happens, and you will be able to impact the guest’s decision-making process. With Formitable's Google Post feature, you can promote your specials and events in your Google Business profile in minutes, directly from Formitable.

2. Acquire more first-time visitors, as well as returning guests with Promotion Codes
Would you like to reach more potential guests and want to create a loyal fanbase? Then Promotion Codes is the feature for you. It's the easiest way to persuade hesitant visitors and turn them into loyal guests. And the beautiful thing is; you can customize the Promotion Code to fit your restaurant and style.
Get creative, give potential guests an incentive to buy, and generate more revenue! Need some inspiration? 🚀 We've listed 5 creative ways to use Promotion Codes.

3. Increase the number of returning guests with Email Campaigns
Formitable has allowed restaurant Alma to quickly & easily set up communication towards their guests, with outstanding results. To give you an idea, their Christmas email open rate was 50%, with a click-through rate of 58%, which resulted in many extra orders.
"With Formitable’s Email Campaigns, everybody can do it. You can give it your very own twist, but it works super conveniently and quickly. "
🚀 Want to read their full story? Click the link to find out how Alma grew their online marketing, online visibility, and above all, their takeaway order stream by regularly working with Email Campaigns.
Though Email Campaigns are also available in Basic, you can only send up to 500 emails per month. Standard allows you to send up to 5000 emails per month. Do you have less than 500 subscribers? Do note that guests usually start taking action after the 3d email. So you want to be able to send multiple emails per month 💌.
💸 Another great example to give you some more insight into what it could actually give you in return:
A modern fine-dining restaurant sends out a weekly newsletter to its subscribers. These Emails generate an average of 16 orders per Email (this includes both takeaway orders and reservations). Per Email, they generate an average of €1111,85.

Time is money: save time in a heartbeat
Save time with a shared account
Do you want your whole team to manage reservations in Formitable on a single device without having to switch accounts, and still be able to keep track of who's doing what? Working from a shared account is the solution. Every time a booking is created, canceled or changed, Formitable will ask users to identify themselves with one simple click. This saves time and helps you to keep track of who's doing what.

Save time and decrease no-shows with a re-confirmation
You can of course call all guests that made a reservation on the day itself to reconfirm their reservation. But this is very labor-intensive. Therefore you can also use the reminder email to let guests reconfirm their booking. You decide how you want to handle reservations that haven't reconfirmed.
